Bedroom Lighting Ideas

Finding the best lighting for the bedroomis not easy, in fact this it can be the most difficult room of the house. The main advice for lighting the bedroom is to make it as flexible as possible. No single form or level of lighting is perfect for all the room's functions, so try to allow for different levels of light for different purposes like downlights ,wall lights ,led lights. Bear in mind the occupant of the bedroom - ideal levels of lighting for children, teens and adults will vary in the same way as other bedroom furniture choices.

All-purpose bedroom lighting is best provided by flush or semi-flush ceiling fixtures or if the ceiling height and room size permits even a chandelier. In bedrooms overhead lighting fixtures are often supplemented with up-light floor lamps and torchieres that illuminate dark corners. By wiring the overhead bedroom lights and the up-light floor lamps separately, you can have some or all of them on at one time. With the addition of dimmer controls to this configuration, the lighting levels can be adjusted to suit different moods and tasks.
